Teacher. Founder. Systems Builder.

Business Operations & Systems Manager

I'm Mr. Fadhil — a professional with a genuinely unusual path: a decade in Cambridge classrooms, a startup built through a pandemic, and now warehouse floors where I automate logistics with Python and n8n. I solve problems wherever they live — in a lesson plan, a codebase, or a shipping container.

The Journey

Five phases, one throughline

Every phase looks unrelated until you notice the pattern: understand a system, then rebuild it so it works better for people.

Phase 1 — The Spark

A Chemistry Obsession

It started in high school with a genuine passion for chemistry — the logic of bonds, reactions, and structure. That early fascination with "how things are built" quietly shaped everything that came after.

Currently building the Chemistry Lab — an interactive tool on chemical bonding, revisiting that first spark.

Phase 2 — Tech & Ed-Tech

From Engineering to Education

Began in Computer Engineering, then pivoted after a year toward people-facing work — earning a degree in Computer Education at Yildiz Technical University (5 years), followed by a Master of Education. Along the way, built an Android tablet app for English learning using Flash.

Phase 3 — The Cambridge Educator

A Decade in the Classroom

Spent roughly ten years teaching Mathematics under the Cambridge Curriculum, including at Kesatuan Bangsa School, while serving as Parents Coordinator. Championed the integration of platforms like IXL into everyday learning, blending pedagogy with technology long before it was standard.

Phase 4 — The Startup Pivot

Building "cari-resto"

Resigned from teaching to found cari-resto, a startup building a POS system and public restaurant table-booking app. Timed for the COVID-19 era demand for contactless dining tech — though the build ultimately crossed the finish line just after the pandemic eased.

Phase 5 — Industrial Export & Automation

Warehouse to Workflow

Moved into the coconut shell charcoal briquette export industry as a Warehouse Manager — owning logistics, writing factory SOPs, and building digital stock-reporting systems. Now automating operations end-to-end with Python and n8n.
